The name behind the mission
The Protector
Guardian of the vulnerable. Defender against harm. The archangel who stands between the powerless and danger.
Shields you in crisisThe Healer
Patron saint of the sick, the traveller, and the blind. The archangel who guides the journey toward healing.
Connects you to careThe Messenger
Divine messenger. The archangel who carries the word when it matters most — bringing vital news to those who must hear it.
Sends your alertHow It Works
One large button fills the screen. A 5-second window lets you cancel if it's a mistake.
0 seconds
Your phone immediately opens the native dialler with 999 (or 112 / local number) pre-typed. You only need to press the green call button — no searching, no navigation. If you cannot speak, the call is still placed immediately. Uses your device’s native dialler. MRGCALL™ does not replace emergency services.
999 must be placed from your own device's dialler — MRGCALL opens it instantly so you don't have to search, unlock, or navigate. One press. Done.
Instantly
At the same time, your emergency contacts (up to 5) receive an alert.
Care Home Mode routes alerts to your care home number and personal contacts. The device dialler is not used in Care Home Mode.
Calls and SMS alerts are sent from +44 7723 379690. Save this number so your contacts recognise it. The sending number may change in future — check this page for the current number.
Within seconds
Five minutes later, MRGCALL calls and texts every contact again. If the first call went to voicemail, this one won't be missed. A missed first call doesn't end the alert.
SMS can be missed, muted, or read too late. Voice calls are harder to miss than SMS — they ring until answered or voicemail picks up, and your name, location, and medical details are spoken aloud.

Designed for Everyone
MRGCALL™ is built from the ground up for the people who need it most — those for whom a standard smartphone is already a barrier.
Our roadmap is built around WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards, with screen reader support arriving in version 1.1. Accessibility shapes every feature we build.
Blind & Visually Impaired
MRGCALL works with TalkBack on Android. Every interactive element announces its purpose. The HELP button, countdown, and emergency status are all navigable eyes-free. Initial setup — entering your name, contacts, and medical information — works with TalkBack and voice dictation but takes time; we recommend a family member or carer help with the one-time setup. After that, MRGCALL is fully usable by touch alone in any emergency. iOS support with VoiceOver is planned for a future release.
Deaf & Hard of Hearing
High-contrast flashing screen alert during the emergency sequence. Visual flash alert throughout. Haptic feedback toggle. Full emergency status visible on screen at all times. No audio requirement — the app works entirely without sound. Screen flash can be disabled for users with photosensitive epilepsy.
Motor Impairment
Shake-to-trigger (requires app to be open). A single enormous button — no precision required. Extended tap targets throughout. 5-second cancel window with a large cancel button.
Cognitive Accessibility
One screen. One button. No menus, no navigation, no complexity. Setup is done once by a family member. Voice confirmation spoken when the alert has been sent. Plain-language status at every stage. In an emergency, the user sees only what they need.
Non-Verbal & Speech Impaired
MRGCALL speaks for you. A personalised voice call — your name, location, age, blood type, allergies, and medical details — is made to every contact automatically. You never need to say a word.
Who MRGCALL™ Is For
Example scenario
Margaret, 78 · Lives alone · London
I fell in the kitchen. I had my phone in my pocket but couldn't reach the worktop to stand up.
With one press, MRGCALL™ is designed to open the 999 dialler and alert her daughter in seconds.
Example scenario
David, 52 · Wheelchair user · Manchester
I had a medical episode out alone. By the time I found my phone, unlocked it, and dialled — I couldn't speak clearly enough to be understood.
When the app is open, MRGCALL is designed to trigger with a single shake and relay GPS coordinates to contacts automatically.
Example scenario
Priya, 34 · Daughter & carer · Birmingham
My mother has dementia. I worry every time she leaves the house. I can't be there every moment — but I need to know the moment something goes wrong.
With Priya added as one of her mother's five emergency contacts — and a confirmation invite SMS sent to her so she knows what to expect — Priya receives an SMS with a map link of the GPS location at the moment any alert is triggered.
MRGCALL™ takes its name from three archangels — Michael, Raphael, and Gabriel. The protector, the healer, and the messenger.
In Christian tradition, these are the three archangels called upon in moments of desperate need. Their combined roles — shield, heal, and carry the message — are precisely what MRGCALL does.
Built in the UK. Designed for the most vulnerable. Guided by the belief that no one should face an emergency alone.
Frequently Asked Questions
Every field, explained. Setup takes 5–10 minutes. A family member or carer can help if needed.
You'll need: your full name, date of birth, home address, your own phone number, 5 emergency contact phone numbers, blood type, any allergies, current medications, and key medical conditions. Setup takes 5–10 minutes. A family member or carer can help if needed.
Your name is spoken aloud in the automated voice call to your emergency contacts and included in the SMS, so they know immediately who needs help. Enter your full name as it appears on official documents.
Your age is critical clinical information for paramedics. The automated voice call speaks your age to your contacts so they can pass it on. Enter your date of birth exactly — the app calculates your age automatically.
Your primary residence. This is used as a fallback location if GPS fails at the moment of emergency. Include full postcode. If you're staying somewhere different temporarily (holiday, family visit), you can set a temporary address that overrides this.
Up to 5. They should be people who can reach you quickly — family members, neighbours, close friends. Make sure they know they're on your emergency contact list and have agreed. Enter each contact's mobile number with UK country code (+44).
Anything paramedics need to know in the first 30 seconds: dementia, diabetes, heart conditions, epilepsy, stroke history, COPD, kidney disease. Keep it short — the automated voice reads this aloud, so prioritise the most important.
List the medications you take regularly with doses if known (e.g. “Warfarin 5mg daily, Metformin 500mg twice daily”). This helps paramedics avoid drug interactions and recognise overdose or missed-dose risks.
In a trauma emergency, paramedics may need to give blood quickly. Knowing the blood type — including Rh factor (positive or negative) — speeds up transfusion decisions. If unknown, leave as “Unknown” and skip this field.
Care Home Mode is for residents of care homes or assisted living facilities. When active, MRGCALL alerts the care home's phone number in addition to your personal contacts, and includes the care home address in the alert. 999 is not auto-dialled in Care Home Mode because care home staff handle that decision. Only enable this if you live in a care facility.
Yes — MRGCALL is designed to allow up to three full emergency dispatches per 24 hours, with the counter resetting at midnight UTC. This protects against accidental repeated triggering and keeps the service financially sustainable. If you somehow exceed the limit, the app will still open your device dialler to call 999 directly, and will display your saved emergency contacts with tap-to-dial buttons so you can call them yourself. The automated voice call and follow-up SMS through our messaging provider are what get suspended — not your ability to reach help.
MRGCALL needs to send a follow-up voice call and SMS five minutes after your initial alert, in case the first one was missed. Android phones aggressively suspend background apps to save power, which can cancel scheduled tasks. By granting MRGCALL the “Don't optimise” permission, you ensure the follow-up reliably fires even if you've closed the app or your screen is off. The permission is requested once during setup. On phones from Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Huawei, or Honor, you may also need to adjust manufacturer-specific battery settings — we recommend checking your phone's Apps → MRGCALL → Battery settings and selecting Unrestricted or equivalent.
Not yet. At v1.0, MRGCALL is available only on Android phones with Android 8 or newer. iPhone support is planned for a future release. Join the waitlist and we'll email you when iOS becomes available.

MRGCALL Care Home Mode runs on wall-mounted tablets in resident rooms, on shared devices in common areas, or on residents' own phones if they have one. One tap. No pendant to wear. No button to find. An automated voice call reaches the care home's nominated number and the resident's emergency contacts at the same time. 999 is not auto-dialled in Care Home Mode — whether and when to contact emergency services is the care home's clinical decision. Personal contacts receive a second alert at the 5-minute mark.
Built for residential care, supported living, and dementia units across the UK.
