MRGCALL™ is a supplementary emergency support tool — not a replacement for calling 999. Always call 999 directly in a life-threatening emergency if you are able to do so.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the MRGCALL application or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use MRGCALL.

These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Automyxor Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (No. 16513734). References to "MRGCALL", "we", "us", or "our" mean Automyxor Ltd.

Automyxor Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office under registration reference ZC086015.

2. What MRGCALL Is — and Is Not

MRGCALL is designed to help you alert emergency contacts and assist emergency services in locating you when you cannot make a phone call. It is intended as a supplementary safety tool alongside — not instead of — official emergency services.

MRGCALL does not connect you to 999, 112, or any emergency services operator. In the standard mode, it notifies your nominated personal contacts and opens your phone's standard dialler with the local emergency number pre-typed (you still tap call). In Care Home Mode (see Section 7), the device dialler is not opened — the care home number is alerted instead, and reaching 999 becomes the care home's responsibility.

You must not rely on MRGCALL as your sole means of seeking emergency help. If you are able to call 999 directly, do so.

Contact messages are informational. Messages sent to your emergency contacts inform them that you have triggered MRGCALL and provide your location and any medical information you have configured. They do not direct contacts to take any specific action. Contacts are expected to exercise their own judgement, which may include attempting to reach you, attending in person, or dialling 999 on your behalf if they believe you are at risk.

3. No Guarantee of Availability

MRGCALL depends on network connectivity, GPS signal, your device's condition, and third-party services (including Twilio and Telnyx for voice and SMS delivery, OpenStreetMap for location lookup, and your mobile carrier). We do not guarantee availability, reliability, or performance of the service.

Service may be degraded or unavailable in the following circumstances, among others:

Daily Emergency Dispatch Limit

To protect against accidental repeat triggering and to keep MRGCALL financially sustainable as a low-cost subscription service, the app limits the number of automated emergency dispatches per account to three (3) per 24-hour period. The counter resets at 00:00 UTC (midnight London time during winter; 01:00 BST during British Summer Time).

If you exceed this limit in a single day, the app will:

What is suspended when the limit is reached: the automated voice call, automated SMS alert, and the five-minute follow-up call through our messaging provider. Direct human-to-human contact via your device dialler remains fully available.

This limit applies per device and is enforced server-side. In the rare situation where you genuinely need to trigger more than three emergencies in a day, please dial 999 directly and consider contacting [email protected] after the immediate emergency is resolved so we can review your case.

4. Your Responsibilities

By using MRGCALL, you agree that you are responsible for:

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Automyxor Ltd shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage — direct or indirect — arising from:

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

You acknowledge that MRGCALL is a supplementary tool and not a guaranteed emergency solution. You use the service at your own risk and are responsible for assessing your situation and taking appropriate action, including contacting emergency services directly where possible.

6. Subscriptions, Billing and Cancellation

MRGCALL offers three pricing options, all charged via Google Play Billing: £24.99/month (recurring monthly), £249/year (recurring annually — approximately 17% saving versus the monthly equivalent), and £299 lifetime founder (a one-time purchase available only to the first 100 customers, after which the lifetime option is permanently deactivated). Pricing is shown in the app at the point of subscription and reflects what Google Play will charge you. Subscription state is mediated by RevenueCat acting as our subscription processor; see our Privacy Policy for details on what data RevenueCat receives.

Lifetime founder. The lifetime founder option is a one-time purchase with no recurring fees. It is available to the first 100 customers only. Once 100 lifetime purchases have been completed, the option is permanently deactivated and removed from the in-app paywall. If you purchase the lifetime founder option, you receive permanent access to MRGCALL Pro for the lifetime of the MRGCALL service. We will provide at least 30 days' notice if we ever discontinue the service.

Renewal. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price. We will give at least 30 days' notice of any price increase affecting an existing subscription. The lifetime founder option is non-recurring and is not subject to renewal.

Cancellation. Monthly and annual subscribers can cancel at any time through their Google Play account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you retain access until then. The lifetime founder option is not cancellable in the recurring sense — it is a one-time purchase. Refunds for lifetime purchases are handled by Google Play under their refund policy (see "Refunds" below).

Refunds. Refunds for any option are handled by Google Play under their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly. Google Play's standard policy provides a 48-hour refund window for digital purchases at Google's discretion; for purchases outside that window, contact Google Play support.

Cooling-off. Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (regulation 36) you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of subscription or purchase. Because MRGCALL provides immediate access to a digital service that may be needed in a genuine emergency, you expressly request and consent to immediate performance of the service before the 14-day period has expired, and you acknowledge that by doing so you lose your right to cancel. If you have not used the service and wish to exercise your cooling-off right, contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of subscribing.

End of subscription. When your monthly or annual subscription ends, the app continues to function in a limited free mode. Your locally stored data remains on your device unless you delete the app. Lifetime founder purchasers retain MRGCALL Pro access permanently for the lifetime of the service.

7. Care Home Mode

IMPORTANT: When Care Home Mode is enabled, MRGCALL will NOT dial 999 or any emergency-services number from the device. The configured care home phone number is alerted via voice call and SMS, and your personal contacts also receive a call and SMS. Whether and when to contact 999 becomes the care home's responsibility. If you live independently and want 999 to be opened automatically, leave Care Home Mode disabled.

Personal contacts continue to receive a follow-up call five minutes after the initial alert; the care home number does not receive the follow-up (on the assumption that care staff are already engaged with the resident).

Care Home Mode is intended for use within registered care facilities under the supervision of trained staff. The registered manager of any facility deploying MRGCALL in Care Home Mode is responsible for ensuring staff training, response protocols, and Care Quality Commission notification obligations under the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014. Automyxor Ltd is not a registered care provider and does not assume any operational duty of care for residents.

8. Invite SMS to Your Emergency Contacts

MRGCALL lets you send an introduction SMS to each contact you nominate so they know they are listed and can confirm or opt out. By tapping Send invite (or Send invite to care home) you warrant that you have a reasonable basis to contact that person at that number — typically because you have asked their permission, or because they are a member of your immediate family, your nominated carer, or the registered manager of the care facility you reside in. You are responsible for any consequence arising from contacting a person who has not given you permission, and you indemnify Automyxor Ltd against any complaint, claim, or regulatory action resulting from your breach of this warranty.

The invite SMS your contact receives reads, verbatim:

"Hi [ContactName], [UserName] has added you as an emergency contact on MRGCALL. You'll receive SMS alerts if they trigger an emergency. Reply YES to confirm, or STOP to opt out of SMS alerts. Note: voice calls may still reach you in a genuine emergency."

If a contact replies STOP, MRGCALL will not send them any further SMS — neither the invite SMS, the emergency alert SMS, nor the five-minute follow-up SMS. STOP does not stop voice calls. Because a voice call is the most reliable way to reach a contact during a genuine life-threatening emergency, contacts who have replied STOP may still receive an automated voice call when you trigger an alert. A contact who wants to be removed entirely must ask you to delete them from your contact list within the app, or contact [email protected] with proof that they are the holder of the number.

You must not use the invite SMS feature to send unsolicited messages, harass, or contact a person who has previously asked you not to contact them. Misuse of this feature may result in suspension of your account under section 10 (Misuse of the Service).

Messages are informational, not directive. The automated voice call and SMS that your emergency contacts receive when you trigger an alert inform them that you have triggered MRGCALL and provide your location and any medical information you have configured. They do not direct your contacts to take any specific action — they do not, for example, instruct contacts to dial 999 on your behalf. Your contacts are expected to exercise their own judgement, which may include attempting to reach you, attending you in person, or contacting emergency services if they believe you are at risk. Automyxor Ltd makes no representation or warranty that your contacts will take any particular action in response to an alert, and is not liable for any consequence arising from the action or inaction of a contact who has received a MRGCALL alert.

Contact status visibility. After you add an emergency contact and tap Send invite, an invitation SMS is sent to that contact asking them to reply YES to confirm or STOP to opt out. The contact's status (pending, confirmed, or opted out) is displayed in the app's Settings. Contacts who reply STOP will not receive future MRGCALL SMS alerts though voice calls may still attempt to reach them in a genuine emergency. You are responsible for reviewing contact status and updating your contact list if you wish to maintain full SMS alert coverage.

9. Age Requirement and Capacity

MRGCALL accounts must be held by a person aged 18 or over. The app may be used to support a person of any age, including children and adults who lack mental capacity, provided the account holder is an adult who has authority to act on their behalf — for example, a parent, guardian, person holding a Lasting Power of Attorney, court-appointed deputy, or a registered care provider acting in the user's best interests under the Mental Capacity Act 2005.

By creating an account you confirm you are at least 18 and that, where the app is set up for another person, you have legal authority to do so.

10. Misuse of the Service

You must not use MRGCALL to generate false emergencies, spam alerts, or intentionally cause distress to others.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the service if misuse is detected.

11. Force Majeure and Third-Party Services

MRGCALL relies on services and infrastructure provided by third parties, including Twilio and Telnyx (voice and SMS), OpenStreetMap (location lookup), Google Play (billing), RevenueCat (subscription state), and your mobile network operator. We are not liable for any failure, delay, or interruption of MRGCALL caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to: failure or degradation of any third-party service, mobile network outage, internet outage, carrier blocking or filtering, operating system restrictions, natural disaster, fire, flood, pandemic, war, civil disturbance, or government action.

12. Service Continuity

To maximise the reliability of emergency dispatch, MRGCALL routes voice calls and SMS through two independent communications providers: Twilio (primary) and Telnyx (automatic fallback). If the primary provider is unreachable or returns an error at the moment of dispatch, the proxy server automatically retries the same call or SMS through the fallback provider. Both providers are subject to the same data-handling rules described in our Privacy Policy: they receive recipient phone numbers and message content only at the moment of dispatch, and they are bound by Art. 28 UK GDPR processor agreements.

Dual-provider failover materially reduces the risk of a single-provider outage preventing an alert, but it does not eliminate it. Both providers ultimately depend on your contacts' mobile carriers to deliver the call or SMS, and a carrier-level outage will affect all routes equally. The limitations in sections 3, 5, and 11 continue to apply regardless of failover behaviour.

13. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, and software comprising MRGCALL — including the name, shield logo, and archangel concept — is the property of Automyxor Ltd and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

14. Changes to the Service and These Terms

We may update MRGCALL or these Terms of Use at any time. We will indicate the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will endeavour to notify users in advance. Continued use of MRGCALL after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue MRGCALL at any time, with or without notice, though we will always aim to give reasonable advance warning.

15. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
